Candid-Guidestar Gold Seal is one of the highest levels granted by the charity watchdog and is a leading symbol of nonprofit transparency and accountability.
According to the National Center for Charitable Statistics (NCCS), there are more than 1.5 million nonprofit organizations registered in the United States. Fewer than 1/2 of one percent of all nonprofits have earned Guidestar’s Gold Seal of Transparency.
